Worst fear: Iran develops a nuclear weapon(s), ships them (assume more than one) to the US, and launches them into the atmosphere where they detonate and create an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) that profoundly affects the US for decades, if not centuries. It would be like sending the US in a time-machine back to the mid-1800’s, prior to electricity. Read “One Second After” for a very realistic look at this very scenario.
While I understand a good deal about the End Times, I’m not an expert, but those who are experts can’t identify the US in scripture at the end. Seems strange that the greatest military superpower would be absent from scripture if we were still that powerful.
Finally, a great many Christians I know just state that God will provide in the event of a calamity. Scripture tells us to never test God. Joseph (from the OT) spent 7 years preparing. I’d suggest that everyone have their own scaled version of a Joseph Project.
Keith, Thanks for the prepper information. I've talked to several people over the past several weeks and NO One is closely prepared to what you just outlined for a Christian family. It seems people don't want to believe this is happening right now, it's like they don't want it to happen now. I told them it's in the bible, just read revelation. Myself I'm getting my FCC license for or when comms go down. It's pretty simple and inexpensive to get. ( about $50 total with the book and taking the test) Don't stop what your doing with giving out this type of information, sooner or later people hopefully will start believing in what your saying and start preparing for what is to come. Hey Keith thank you for the info and the update on preparedness for what might come to fruition. Although I am not a military person or police/fire fighter or EMT trained. I do have basic outdoor skills. I know when it hits the fan things happen quick, fast and in a hurry so time is of the essence. So a lot of basic skills go out the door just as fast. I would like you to consider taking a more simplistic outline of your preparation approach. What I mean in simplistic is you take one phase of a preparedness scenario and expound on that particular subject before moving on to the next scenarios. I fell this would reach a lot more average people that want to be prepared but are like me and just know the basics or very little. I had questions on all your preparedness checklist. Just a for instance, you talk about food and water storage but don’t have a comprehensive list of the categories and what to purchase. Also I didn’t hear any mention of first aid supplies nor a list of those supplies. Most think that is bandaids and antibiotic cream. One last thing I have heard of thanking Iodine tablets in the event of nuclear fallout. Is this still something that should be researched and is a viable treatment. I’m certainly not trying to tell you how too run your webpage, I appreciate you and your efforts. I’m just saying that not everyone is at the same level of preparedness as others so it might be of great value to dumb it down for those of us who are new to all this. Just trying to make it better for everyone involved. This is all in God’s hands and he will have the final say regardless. He is the Alpha and the Omega the First and Last and the one who was ,is and is to come King of King’s and Lord of Lords he already has a plan.
Always appreciate your insight and advice. I recall reading Pakistan said they would furnish Iran with nuclear weapons. I would consider this highly likely if not already accomplished. Also Russia and Iran have a security pact if I am not mistaken. It appears someone bombed the Russian run nuclear power plan in Iran. Perhaps Russians killed. The stakes seem to keep rising. Just wondering who will say checkmate first.
Thanks for this update. When we consider the nuke threat from of enemy lets not forget the ways nucellar materials can be a threat other than a bomb such as dirty bombs. When I was a WND guy on my department back in the 80s and90s we were real concerns about this kind of attack. A little radioactive material on an explosive device can be very disruptive. It has a high freakout impact.
