Excellent advice. These are things we have to have in our mind before we have the situation! I always appreciate your posts and I am thankful for you! Blessings
I struggle with the dichotomy of Luke 22:36 and Matthew 26:52. I also appreciate the point of
Ecclesiastes 3:8 but do these civil self defense scenarios constitute war?
I plan\train to do whatever is legal and righteous to protect my family but will resort to violence only if all other means, especially escape, are exhausted. Life is a gift from the Lord and should always be treasured and protected.
This is something I bring to the Lord in prayer often but still question if I am walking in His ways?
Excellent advice. Thank you.

Honestly, I write these for myself to keep myself on the right path. I think we all struggle.
